A black and white music video for rap artist Nappi Devi, inspired by the visual language of classic Kurosawa films. The goal was to translate the stark contrast, dramatic framing, and atmospheric tension of mid-century Japanese cinema into a modern hip hop context. I directed the visual concept, developed the shot compositions around high contrast lighting and movement, and oversaw production to ensure the cinematic influence felt intentional rather than nostalgic. The result bridges classic film aesthetics with a contemporary performance-driven music video.
